America, 1899.

Arthur Morgan and the van der Linde gang are forced to go on the run. They feel the breath of federal agents and top bounty hunters on their backs, so they must raid, steal and fight with all their might to survive in the harsh world of America’s heartland. Increasingly deep internal strife threatens to split the gang, and Arthur must choose between his ideals and loyalty to the people who raised him.

Now Red Dead Redemption 2 also includes additional story mode content and an expanded photo mode, as well as free access to the player-shared and vibrant online world of Red Dead Online, where players can create their own career path in one of many professions: pursue criminals as bounty hunters, conduct business as traders, discover exotic treasures as collectors and manage an illegal distillery as moonshiners. And that’s not all.

Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC offers a number of graphical and technical enhancements and takes full advantage of the computing power of computers to breathe life into every corner of the game’s huge, rich and detailed world. It achieves this through greater object rendering distances, higher quality global illumination and ambient occlusion – which improves the appearance of daytime and nighttime lighting – better reflections and deeper shadows at higher resolution, tessellated tree textures, and improved grass and fur textures, making all plants and animals look extremely realistic.
